I went through the UK education system choosing to work for the Ministry of Defence rather than going to University, I worked for 20 years at the ministry and in that time became responsible for training new entrants and organising and presenting training courses for both new entrants and for established employees.
Experience
I worked for the UK government in many areas, including human resources and training. I trained new entrants and arranged and presented training courses. I have lived in Italy since 2005 and have worked in the tourist and customer service fields. My three children are now grown up and I want to get back to training and teaching which is more fulfilling so I have retrained specifically to teach English to non English speakers. I take my work seriously although learning should be a fun experience.

Hobbies
I have many interests which include: Art and painting Music of all types including playing music and singing. Travel I love to learn about other cultures and see different ways of life in the world. Sport I love to play tennis and to watch soccer (football). I also love crafts and crafting. I crochet lots of household items using not only wools but also ordinary string. I also make soap which originated from an allergy to normal commercial soap but I enjoy the process and also the soap!
